Management Recruiters of Iowa City was originally establish to serve the seed industry. We have found our candidate’s education and backgrounds have many applications in other facets of agriculture. The seed industry has experienced many changes in the last several years as breeders have used biotechnology to insert traits that increase yield, lower input costs, repel pests and handle a variety of weather conditions. This has altered the face of the seed industry with many more innovations yet to come.
Our seed clients produce many different kinds of seed. Agronomic and vegetable seed have been our mainstay, but we have had many successes in small seed, sugar beets, flowers, arid plants and many others. Our candidates are both technical scientists and sales and marketing people, including supply line and product management. We understand our client’s business from a knowledgeable standpoint and have a solid network of industry professionals as sources to benefit our clients. Management Recruiters of Iowa City is experienced in both international and national executive searches and placements.
We believe in the seed industry and work hard to make a better place for all those involved and those who can benefit from products being developed. Our staff actively participates in both the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) and the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA). By being proactive in these groups, we hope to help bring our youth into agriculture as their chosen profession.
